adidas Metalbone Team (2026)
The adidas Metalbone Team 2026 is the "comfort-power" choice for the intermediate to advanced player. It mirrors the aggressive, head-heavy architecture of Ale Galán’s professional model but replaces the punishingly stiff aluminized carbon with Fiber Glass faces. This makes the racket much more "playable" and forgiving. For 2026, the model continues to utilize the Octagonal Structure, which provides the frame with eight edges to maximize rigidity, ensuring that even though the face is flexible, the racket doesn't "fold" under the pressure of a heavy smash.

The On-Court Feel
1. High Ball Output
The standout characteristic of the Metalbone Team 2026 is its "easy" power. The combination of the Diamond shape and the Fiber Glass face creates a high trampoline effect. When you are defending deep in the court and need to hit a high lob, the racket does most of the work for you. You don't need a perfect, high-speed technical swing to get the ball to the back of the court.
2. Vibration Absorption
Because it uses EVA Soft Performance (the low-density rubber marked with a black cap), it is significantly more comfortable than the "Hard" or "High Memory" versions found in pro rackets. It filters out the harsh vibrations that typically come with head-heavy rackets, making it a safer choice for players who want power but are mindful of their elbow or shoulder.
3. Stability at the Net
The Octagonal Structure of the frame is what gives this racket its "Team" identity. While the face is soft and elastic, the frame itself is very stiff. This means that when you are at the net blocking a hard-hit ball, the racket feels stable and directional rather than twisting in your hand.
Key Tech Features
-
Spin Blade Gritt: A sandy, rough finish across the hitting surface that helps "grip" the ball for more effective sliced volleys and "viboras."
-
Structural Reinforcement: Perimeter reinforcements that make the racket more resistant to the high stresses of competitive play.
-
Oversize Diamond: A larger-than-standard head size that slightly widens the sweet spot, making it more forgiving than traditional "narrow" diamond rackets.
Note on Weight System: Unlike the Metalbone 3.3/3.4 Pro models, the Team version does not feature the Weight & Balance (screw) system. Its weight and balance are fixed at the factory to provide the most optimized "out-of-the-box" experience for its level.
