The Hack 03 2022 marked a significant turning point in the evolution of Paquito Navarro’s signature line. After two years of using a hybrid shape (Hack 02), the 2022 model returned to a Diamond shape but introduced a completely revamped bridge and frame. It is a pure professional-grade power racket designed for aggressive players who want a "dry," firm hit.

Technical Features & On-Court Feel

1. Tricarbon Face (Reactive Power)

The Tricarbon used in the Hack 03 consists of thinner and lighter carbon fibers interwoven in three directions. On the court, this translates to a very high reactivity. When you strike the ball with force, the face recovers its shape almost instantly, launching the ball with extreme velocity. It provides a "dry" feel with very little "trampoline effect," giving the player total control over the power they generate.

2. Air React Channel Technology

This was the standout innovation for the 2022 series. The heart of the racket features an aerodynamic hollow structure (Air React Channel) that allows air to pass through more efficiently.

• The Result: Even though it is a head-heavy diamond racket, it feels surprisingly agile. It reduces "drag" during the swing, helping you generate faster racket-head speed on smashes and react more quickly to body-shots at the net.

3. MultiEVA Core

The core uses two layers of EVA:

• Outer Layer: Denser and harder to provide power on fast balls.

• Inner Layer: Softer and lower density to help with control on slower balls, making defensive lobs more manageable.

4. Metalshield & CustomWeight

The racket features a lightweight aluminum protector (Metalshield) on the frame. This protector is part of the CustomWeight system, allowing you to add weight plates to the head to shift the balance even higher for more power, or to the handle to increase control.

5. Professional Comfort: Vibradrive & Hesacore

• Vibradrive: A silicone insert that runs the length of the handle to absorb vibrations.

• Hesacore Grip: Usually comes standard, this honeycomb-patterned grip reduces stress on the hand and forearm, which is vital given the stiffness of the Tricarbon faces.

On-Court Performance

• Attack: This is one of the most powerful rackets on the market. It excels in flat smashes and aggressive volleys. The stiff face ensures that no energy is lost upon impact.

• Defense: Due to the diamond shape and high balance, it is more "demanding" in the back of the court. It has a smaller sweet spot compared to a round racket, so it requires good technical timing to avoid "dead" hits.

• Maneuverability: Thanks to the Air React Channel, it is faster in the air than the older Hack 02, making it a "whippy" weapon for viboras.
