Bullpadel Vertex 03 Comfort (2022)
The Vertex 03 Comfort 22 is the specialized version of the Vertex line designed to offer a softer touch and higher "ball output" (rebound) than the standard Proline models. While it retains the aggressive diamond shape used by pro player Martin Di Nenno, it swaps out rigid carbon faces for a hybrid material, making it much more "forgiving" and arm-friendly.

Technical Features & On-Court Feel
1. Fibrix Hybrid Face
The standout feature is the Fibrix surface, which is a blend of carbon fiber and fiberglass. On the court, this creates a "plusher" feel. Unlike 12K or 18K carbon which can feel "rock-hard," Fibrix provides more elasticity. This means the ball sinks into the racket and bounces out with more speed on slow-to-medium shots, helping you maintain depth in your lobs and volleys without straining your arm.
2. Air React Channel Technology
The 2022 model features the Air React Channel, an aerodynamic hollow structure in the heart of the racket. This makes the head of the racket move faster through the air. For a diamond-shaped racket (which can typically feel "heavy" or "clunky"), this technology provides a surprisingly agile feel, allowing for quicker reaction times at the net.
3. MultiEVA Core
The core uses a dual-density foam:
-
Outer Layer (Compact): Reacts to fast balls to provide power for smashes.
-
Inner Layer (Lower Density): Absorbs energy on slower balls to improve control and comfort.
4. Nerve Channels & Vertex Heart
The Nerve channels (grooves on the side of the frame) and the Vertex throat design work together to increase structural rigidity and distribute weight. This ensures that even though the face is "soft," the racket remains stable and doesn't twist when you are blocking a high-speed shot from your opponent.
5. Topspin Rough Surface
The face features a sand-like rough finish. This texture is designed to "grip" the ball, facilitating heavy slice on volleys and providing the extra friction needed to hit technical "kick" serves that stay low or jump off the glass.
Best Suited For
The Vertex 03 Comfort 22 is designed for the advanced offensive player who prefers a "soft" impact sensation. It is an excellent choice for those who love the power of a diamond shape but want to avoid the stiffness of full-carbon rackets. It is particularly valued by players who want to protect their elbow while still having a racket capable of high-level attacking play.
