Softee Oxel (2025/2026)
The Softee Oxel is a high-performance "Control-Hybrid" racket that has become a favorite for tactical players who want a premium carbon feel in a manageable shape. It features an Oversize Round (sometimes categorized as a round-teardrop hybrid) geometry. This design is intended to provide the largest possible hitting surface, making it one of the most stable and "reliable" rackets in the Softee lineup.

The On-Court Feel
1. The "Oversize" Safety Net
The standout feature of the Oxel is its expanded sweet spot. Because the head is slightly larger than a traditional round racket, it is incredibly forgiving. Even if you are caught out of position or forced to block a high-speed body shot, the racket maintains its stability. This reduces "unforced errors" and makes it an excellent choice for players who prioritize consistency over raw power.
2. Balanced "S6" Impact
The EVA Soft S6 rubber is a medium-density foam. It provides a "drier" and firmer touch than your Kuikma PR Comfort, but it isn't "rock-hard" like professional competition rackets. You get a solid "thud" that offers excellent feedback, allowing you to feel exactly how the ball is interacting with the 3K Carbon face.
3. Elite Defensive Maneuverability
Despite its "Oversize" look, the Oxel is exceptionally agile. The weight is distributed toward the handle (low-medium balance), which allows you to move the racket head quickly. It excels in:
-
Deep Defense: Digging out low balls from the corners.
-
Precision Lobs: Using the 3K Carbon's stability to guide the ball high and deep.
-
Net Transitions: Moving quickly from a low ready position to a high volley.
4. Full Carbon Durability
The 100% Carbon frame and 3K Carbon faces ensure that the Oxel is built to last. It is much more resistant to frame fatigue and accidental impacts than fiberglass models. This structural rigidity also means the racket doesn't "flex" during a hard hit, ensuring your power is transferred cleanly into the ball.
