Softee Trionic (2025/2026)
The Softee Trionic is a premium, high-performance racket designed for players who want a "heavy-hitting" feel without moving to a difficult diamond shape. It features an oversize teardrop (hybrid) mold, which provides a larger hitting surface and a slightly raised sweet spot. The Trionic is known in the Softee lineup for its 100% Carbon construction, offering a very stable and "dry" response that rewards aggressive technical play.

The On-Court Feel
1. The "Oversize" Advantage
The Trionic uses a slightly larger head mold than traditional teardrop rackets. On the court, this translates to a massive sweet spot. It is exceptionally forgiving for a carbon racket; if you are slightly late on a fast volley or reach for a ball in the corner, the "oversize" face helps maintain ball depth and prevents the racket from twisting in your hand.
2. Stable "S6" Impact
The EVA Soft S6 rubber is a medium-soft density. It is specifically chosen to balance out the stiffness of the 3K Carbon face. You get a "dry" professional thud when you hit the ball hard, but it still has enough "give" to be comfortable on the arm. It doesn't have the extreme trampoline effect of a fiberglass racket, giving you much more predictability in your shots.
3. Versatile Power
Because of its teardrop shape and medium balance, the Trionic is a "jack-of-all-trades."
-
At the Net: It feels fast enough for reflex volleys.
-
Overhead: The teardrop shape provides that extra "weight" at the top of the frame, making it significantly easier to hit powerful smashes compared to a round racket.
4. Glossy/Rough Hybrid Finish
Most versions of the Trionic feature a high-quality finish with subtle 3D textures. This helps you "grab" the ball for sliced serves and viboras, ensuring the ball stays low and difficult for your opponents to defend after hitting the back glass.
Comparison to your Kuikma PR Comfort
If you are considering the Trionic as an upgrade from your Kuikma:
-
The Transition: You are moving from a Round/Fiberglass setup to a Teardrop/Carbon setup. This is a significant jump in quality.
-
The Feel: The Trionic will feel stiffer and more powerful. You will lose that "mushy" softness but gain a massive increase in frame stability.
-
The Maneuverability: Because it is a teardrop, it might feel slightly more "head-heavy" than your current round racket, but it is still very well-balanced and won't feel clunky.
